Home Depot Analyst, NCD in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose: With the new organization NCD intends to bring all design ideation in-house so THD (The Home Depot) owns the IP and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Sr. Managers are responsible for strategic thinking while the Sr. Analysts/Analysts are individual contributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation & investigation of tactical details.

  • Document Installation requirements, communicate space requirements at IC, research and understand scope of NRCC and packaging.

  • Leadership support, Day to day ideation, schedule meetings.

  • Manage project set-up (MLX) and tollgates to ensure standardization, moderate, and small scope projects are planned in a timely manner with high-quality and seamless execution.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to assign (and review) project toll gates and deliverables.

  • Communication with Key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to align on project goals, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Often individual contributor for a complex reset/initiative.

  • Obtain engineering documents and maintain deliverables.

  • Engage and obtain 3D Renderings.

  • Installations: IC, Concepts, DAF, POC.

  • Day 2 Support o Fixture Resolution & Identification o Repair and Maintenance Programs

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to a director-level position within merchandising

  • No direct reports, however, the position will be required to mentor others who have the need for assistance

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

  • Strong project management skills, including strong process orientation, ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

  • Good communication skills, including ability to interact with officers, also needs the ability to negotiate and persuade

  • Strong analytical skills and general understanding of technical concepts

  • Ability to establish priorities and procedures for accomplishing work within established deadlines; ability to handle multiple projects and manage toward deadlines and deliverables

  • Proven leadership skills, including a willingness and ability to be a mentor
